Why Kickstart Hymns of the Father?
We recently launched Hymns of the Father on Kickstarter.
So why are we here?
Here's the thing. We believe in this project.
When we first started seeing all the pieces come together, we were blown away. Not because we think we're awesome—but because God gave us the idea for this and allowed us to bring it to fruition.
We literally can't take any credit for this (confession: I wish we could, because it's amazing). When you see it and hear it, you'll understand why. It's way better than it has any right to be, and way better than we can pull off under our own power.
I'm always reluctant to throw around the idea of "anointing" because I don't want to accidentally blaspheme or something (anyone else ever feel that way?), but honestly... I truly believe there is an anointing on this.
So we're asking for you to help us get it to as many people as possible.
Don't forget, the prices in the Kickstarter are pretty much the lowest that you will find—so get the goodies now while they're discounted! As an added bonus, you'll get early access to most of the material and some signed and personalized goodies.

Here's a little transparency about the publishing process: reviews are a huge deal. Especially for smaller, independent publishers.
Reviews can make or break a release. Especially in the first few days after release.
How do book get those reviews at release? Publishers with all kinds of crazy resources and connections give out a bunch of books called "Advance Review Copies" (ARC for short). This gives readers a chance to read the book before it releases and provide their honest review to places like Goodreads and Amazon.
And we want to give you a chance to help us the same way!
What is Hymns of the Father? It's a devotional book (e-book and paperback). It's an audiobook. It's an album. It's resources for the church.

Our Kickstarter campaign officially funded after about 38 hours, which was amazing and we wouldn't be here at all without your support!
Nathan, Preston, and I started brainstorming about options since we met our goal and then kept going, and we decided on one thing we've always been excited about, but were never quite sure how to do it:
We want to give books away to ministries and organizations such as: prison ministries, celebrate recovery meetings, chaplains, elder care ministries, etc.
With your help, we can do that.

You can see more details on the Kickstarter page, but the short version is this: if our campaign raises $7500, we'll be able to give away 100 paperbacks, plus give everyone a free copy of the instrumental album. If we hit $10,000, we'll be able to give an additional 100 paperbacks, and order more t-shirt options to choose from.
